I think I figured it out

So during the week my commute in the mornings is a killer and then the next 5-6 hours is no picnic either. However, today it was different. True, it is Spring Break and there was a ton less traffic (so less stop and go)....but today I was not sick on my way to work. Then I realized that I had not yet taken my pills...which consist of 6 pills for Chron's (that I will take for the rest of my life), prenatal vitamin, baby aspirin (that I will take until 12 weeks of pregnancy), and an iron supplement pill (since I have low iron).

I took the pills after I got to work and within 10 minutes didn't feel well. I have heard that other pregnant women have gotten sick from their prenatal vitamins so it is not uncommon.

I am going to start taking my pill at night...hopefully that should help. :)

I also took my prenatal right before bed. And actually, I heard that the prenatal and the iron pills conflict each other if there is calcium in the prenatal. The calcium wins and negates the iron. So I took my prenatal at night and my iron when I got up to pee in the night or first thing in the morning because of the milk in my cereal! Weird, I know.

BTW, I only threw up once in all three of my pregnancies (with Blake). But the "feeling" of throwing up is just as bad to me!

Hey Paige!

This is your long lost cousin Stephanie! I was SO happy to hear that God has blessed you and John as well! I can't wait to find out what you are having...boy or girl. Travis and I are so excited about our little girl coming this June! I am sure you have a ton of people giving you advice, but perhaps we can at least vent to each other via blogspot in the future as we are both going through the first 3 months after our little ones are born. I hear you hit a wall because you are so tired and you don't think that part will ever end...but then things begin to turn around. Sounds tough...but I still can't wait!!! ;-)

Well...I have got to get to class now (graduate school-BLAH). Write to you soon!

Love Ya,

Stephanie Ansley (Joy's daughter)
