My mom helped me plant them & the boys are helping to water them with the use of their wheelbarrow.

Sand
We met up with some friends at the park today. All the kids stayed in the same place for most of the time, working together on a sand project. Considering there were 12 kids, it was kind of impressive that there were zero arguments & no sand in the eyes.....though there was a lot of sand in the hair...like imbedded almost in their scalp due to the sweat content.

Jump on Carter
It is one of Ryan's new favorite games....Carter & I are usually the targeted ones...
Boobie Trap
As seen on Pinterest, John built the boys a "laser" obstacle course, aka boobie trap. Carter came downstairs & said "mom, we need a string to make a yarn with lasers."
Me: "Huh?" John then appeared & explained. So he set up the laser obstacle course while I gathered some bells to 'sound' the alarm from said 'lasers'. :)

Funny things
Logan saying that a bunch of kids were a bunch of shenanigans
Carter calling volume, Valium. :)
We were discussing what comes from animals....steak=cow; chicken=chicken; bacon=pig.....Carter says, I know what comes out of birds...intrigued I said, what? Bird Poop. Haha, yes, that is true! Not that we eat it, but yes that is true. :)

Boy Stuff
Carter helped John weed whack:
Teamwork moving water from one side to the other & watching it drain out....and repeat:
Ryan loving the rocking horse:
Ryan's Entourage & Shenanigans
It is no longer just 'Puppy'....it is puppy, mickey & another puppy! Logan never cared much for stuffed animals, Carter cared deeply about one stuffed animal (Tao), but Ryan seems to be taking quite a few under his wing...
Oh, Ryan.....her containers of raisins met an ingredient they never imagined they would meet....Italian breadcrumbs. And the meeting did not go well; they got dumped.
At one point, I caught Logan 'reading ' a novel to his friends.
Even Buddy got love from Vivie:
While at my friends house watching her girls, I was upstairs in the girls room & Ryan was with me. I then noticed he was not with me....this is where I found him:
We headed back up to the girls rooms & this is what he did. So cute the way he is laying:
And finally his BFF, Linda came home & he was calmly in her arms. :)
Later all the friends headed out to the sand table:
And they ran & ran & ran from pretend bees from the shed. I do love their imaginations ..
Dinner in the Treehouse
After visiting John's Dad, we went back to his house. The boys ( including little me too) insisted on eating dinner up in the playhouse.
Oh how they do love that playhouse!

Tips on how to entertain a toddler in a hospital
We visited johns dad yesterday. We left in somewhat of a hurry & I forgot to bring some things for the kids to do. John set up a movie on the iPhone for the boys, but let us follow Ryan's adventure through our 5 hour stay.....
Okay, moving on. Time for Aunt Kaye to take him for a walk in the courtyard outside. This also happens a 2nd time with Aunt Paula too (cute that it was both his Godmothers).
Now it's time for fun with a hospital glove:
Set up a movie on the iPhone for them to watch....
When that doesn't capture his 2-year old attention, show him the helicopter pad by the lake, complete with boats to watch.
After that novelty wears off, give him your iPhone to walk around with....( tip: remember to turn off the camera function or else you'll have about 20 pictures on your phone that look like this):
Fix that & you have this:
Oh. My. Goodness! Look at all these knobs & buttons! Surely my parents will allow me to touch all of these....or NOT. (Eventually since grandpa wasn't hooked up to anything we did allow him to touch a few since all things were going to be sterilized anyway):
Then when Pastor comes in to say a prayer, do your best to keep him quiet:
Photos not captured included playing in the game room next door, crawling on the floor & playing with the room curtain. Uncle Dan said if the boys develop a fever in the next 2 days, go straight to the ER cuz they're bound to have picked up something!!!! Haha..... But let's pray we stay fever free cuz yeah, he's totally right....

Haircut time!
All 3 boys were looking pretty shaggy & needed their noggins cleaned up a bit. Off to Great Clips we go! Here they all are lined up:
If you didn't notice in the pic above, Logan's stylist asked if he wanted his hair with gel in it...either spiked or a Mohawk or....didn't matter. She had him at Mohawk. =)
Ryan sat by himself like such a big boy this time (last 2 times he has requested me with him....it helped that he had both puppy & Mickey with him). He sat so still & so serious....
Carter was soooo tired that his hairdresser said he dozed off a couple times. So cute. :)
Here they are after in the can with their suckers!
He loved it! But when we came home he said he didn't want anybody to look at him cuz they might laugh. I reassured him it would only be because he looked so darn cute!
