So this past week, Logan just wants to walk any chance he gets - with us holding onto his hands. His new thing as of 3 days ago is that he knows exactly where he wants to walk - which includes the ever impressive turning around. He did this to me a few times and last night while John and him were walking around, he did it to him. Chances are, if Buddy is eating, Logan wants to go stand next to him to watch. He will try to let go of our hands at this point to state that he is where he wants to be.....by the water bowl. No, no, Logan. So we turn him around only to have him lead us around the downstairs bathroom and back into the kitchen...next to Buddy. What a tricky little guy.
We try to let go of one hand and tease him with the other to get him to walk....sometimes this leads to him walking in circles, which can be humorous to an innocent bystander. To Logan this is frustrating and sometimes leads him to throw himself on the floor and cry for a minute. Again, humorous to John and I. Is it wrong to find it so funny when your 10 month old tries to throw a tantrum? Haha!!!
We practice walking with and without shoes since chances are when he learns to walk alone, it will be shoe-weather. He's getting it and it makes us happy and very proud of him - which he are certain to tell him as he's doing it. :)
